Why Power Belt Machines are Better
In the old days the machines used in factories and the cars did not use power belts. But with the invention of the belt and its uses have brought machinery a long way. The machines used today is a better quality and much more efficient. Some systems have more than one belt in their systems. Some are thin and single and there are wider and double. The belts can help reduce gas mileage as well.
The load on the engine is greatly reduced by the action of the belt driven engine rather on the ones that do not. Engines that do not have belts do not last a long time, the engines or machines that are belt powered have along life. The belts are changeable, if they get worn or if they snap, they can be replaced. The only drawback to that idea is if the machine model is discontinued and then the parts would be as well. So that is something that you have to take into consideration as well.
Belt driven engines give the machine what is called the mechanical efficiency. Meaning that the machine works to the maximum benefit. The gas mileage can increase on cars because the load that is placed on the engine has been lessened by the belt driven motor or engine. Another drawback to the belt driven machine is that if the belt goes down typically the whole engine or machine goes down. So it may be helpful to have spare belts on hand just in case. |
